It is our hope that young girls will not have to wait any more, and will be matched with a Big Sister who can ultimately change her life forever. Since 2007, GrapeJuice has raised $161,900 for Big Sisters.

To reflect that 2010 is the 50th anniversary of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, our goal was to raise $50,000 at Grape Juice this year. We are proud to announce that we exceeded our goal and raised $54,000 at the May 6th Grape Juice event.
A highlight of the evening was when Riley Inge, the singer formerly with the legendary group, The Temptations, sang a few classic songs for Grape Juice guests.

Divas Gala Raises Over $110,000
THANK YOU to the many volunteers, sponsors, guests, and donors of the Big Sisters Divas Gala! We are so thrilled that over $110,000 was raised at the October 22nd gala at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Over 200 people enjoyed getting dressed up for a fun evening of 'shopping' in our silent and live auctions and dancing to the energetic entertainment by the Vandivas. Thanks to the incredible support of this event, Big Sisters will be able to match 55 Little Sisters on the waiting list!

On September 1st, over 15 Vancouver businesses showed their support for Dress for Success Vancouver kicking off the annual Dress Me for Success Corporate Challenge. McNeill Nakamoto, as well as other teams from local businesses have challenged themselves to collect as many assigned pieces of clothing for Dress for Success Vancouver's aim to provide interview appropriate attire for Lower Mainland women. Each Dress for Success client receives a suit for her interviews and a small working wardrobe when she gets a job. The suits symbolize our faith in every woman's ability to succeed.
